GHETTO BASEMENT PRODUCTIONS - DALINKS is made up of six individuals who were raised on the streets in the south-east end of London, Ontario. All of their songs are produced, edited, recorded and mix by each member of Dalinks , they do there own track. there is NO studio, just a small set up in the basement (a computer, comp mix program, a descent mic, good beats) and alot of talented, soul-filled lyrics. They put their heart and soul in each song the record. it is their own style, their own vision, and thoughts that you hear in each song... they are currently unsigned and are seeking a record deal with adecsent known company... Through many family financial struggles combined with the 'watch your back' hood life style and much rascial tension, GBP (troublez, blat, ruckah, na-lidge, plex and grim) developed a mind set of 'ghetto' understandings. Through thick and thin these streets became a full-time part of their life, these streets became there emeny, friend and mentor wich have define who they are today. Each one of these individuals are now well respected and share much of the same history and understandings of the 'street smarts' needed to survive through the toughness and hopelessness of situations.... Hiphop has always been a major part of who they are and much respect has developed from this hiphop culture... each song that they record deeply expresses their true understanding and has great meaning to there way of life. The key is to move up and leave the struggles of the 'slum life' in the past, both to support and provide for their families and to bring that true meaning of hard work,.. the 'never give up attitude' and a good way of positive redemption to the surface of the streets, wich thousands of young rappers in similar situtions seek for every day... Where there is pain, there is relief... Where there is poorness there is wealth... And where there is struggle there is faith... It is up to only our selves to determine our out come... and redirect the path in wich we travel...It starts with a believe and ends with success.... keep ya head up.
