Biography Armel- The GreatArmel, AKA The Great, AKA Capital A, AKA A.T.M, AKA Snug; started his career as a Citykids Board member booking shows for such groups like MC Lyte, Fatboys, Super Lover Cee, Casanova Rud, and the Audio Two. He was accompanied by (and grew up with) former board members such as Malik Yoba (New York Undercover, Cool Runnings) and Isiah Washington (Grey's Anatomy, Romeo Must Die); just to name a few. Armel learned leadership and communications skills at City Kids, in the brawl of the multicultural world. As the age of 20, Armel preformed with some of the greats such as Tony Randall and Keith Harry.After Citykids, Armel started his first official rap group named Ancient Coins. The group released it's first single entitled “Baby Love†in 1998 and sold over 20,000 copies in Brooklyn alone and gained major credibility in the street of New York.
