We can’t ever go back to Arizona!

About Me

I’m a skinny old school skater type who has been around the block enough to gain some wisdom but not become completely jaded. Although the current political climate, dumbing down, growing fanaticism, and rampant consumer culture can be a downer, you got to keep on pushing. For work I'm a Elementary Montessori Teacher, Musician, and part time Archaeologist. I enjoy going to far off places, eating fine foods, the creative process, snapping photos and dark humor.

..

My Interests

long road trips, playing dusty music www.didollari.com, rolling around on my skateboard, runin' the MBS www.midwestbowlriders.com, monte alban mezcal, fieldwork in Belize and Ecuador, photography.

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking out for long lost friends, old punks, exene wannabe's, lawn dart players, roadtrippers and people: who have/make the time to relax and enjoy life, who have passions, know who they are and feel good about it, that don't succumb to superficial clutter to make themselves feel complete, who know how to cut loose and have a good time and aren't hung up on the scene, you know... people with smarts who can throw something new on the table.

Music:

all sorts, just as long as it's good but more recently: the now time delegation, the fall (a consistent), M83, dark sythy soundscapes, daniel luppi, clever programing, randall thomson's voice, cab calloway, twangy guitars, mr cave, waits, lux & ivy, etc...

Movies:

The American Astronaut, Kusturica's Underground, Mifune, Wet Hot American Summer, Guy Madden's work, The King Is Alive, Once Upon a Time in the West (and mexico), Missouri Breaks, the list goes on...

Television:

the tv stays off these days, except for box office vid and netflix.

Books:

Travels with Charlie, Corgiville Fair, Something Wicked this Way Comes and JB Priestley's Lost Empires

Heroes:

Yoav, the Avenging Disco Godfather, Ramond Chandler and Vincent Price
