About Me

Married for 2 years now. Still amazingly happy.

Still a geek. Music, Movies, Cartoons, Video Games, Comic Books .... i'm down.

I dont club as much anymore. The scene in Nashville has gone to hell. its thuggish or its a shitbox venue. there's nothing inbetween or nice anymore.

Still love gatherings and dancing.

The future looks good....

I'd like to meet:

who do i want to meet? this is an awesome question.

so does this mean that when you read this, if you dont fit this personality type that i would like to meet, you'll go the fuck away and stop pestering me?
Great! Then eat me bitchesesssssss.

btw- Hi, im Pop.... nicetameetcha

Music:

house music, break beats, jungle, drum n bass, speed garage, uk garage 2step, old school hip-hop, rap, rock, punk, metal, classic rock, pop, big band jazz, crooner, all musics man.

i currently have well over three thousand CDs.

i normally listen to a mixture of electronic music from world reknown DJS mixed with stuff from local Nashville DJs and i mix all that with old stuff from Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson and Matt Monroe and mix that with DMX and ICP and Tribe Called Quest. . . . . . .

dont ever expect a single style or type to be playing when you join me.

Movies:

totally unfair...um... shit.
i have 214 DVDs at this very moment and thats only because i force myself not to buy daily. seriously, its that bad sometimes........ hmm.... i adore post apocalyptic movies, comedies... the more offensive, the better.... action, 80's, i love teen flicks with predictable endings, i love comic book movies (geek support), all kinds of movies.... chick flicks require a little bit of snuggle time, i dont see them for free (what? i think thats fair).... asking me about movies is very unfair... i love movies.

i used to go to the cinema EVERY monday and i am wanting to restart the tradition soon. keep an eye out for the Movie Hooligans to re-emerge sometime in the next few months.

Television:

Family Guy , Cartoon Network , KimPossible , .... thats it. thats all. tv is stupid. so thats all i watch, IF even that much.

Books:

i love books. i have some where in the neighborhood of 150 to 200 books. that are still in good enough condition to not toss. to catagorize books, i guess you'd have to say J.R.R. Tolkien has been my all time favorite author since my mom started reading the hobbit to me at 7 years old.
The Harry Potter series, by JK Rowlings has easily become my second favorite series, although it remains incomplete.
The Dark Tower series, by Stephen King would be a close third (and Childe Roland made it onto my heroes list. heh).
and the 10 book chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny (you can get "The Great Book of Amber" is available as all ten in one book ... you can get it at amazon ) is my fourth favorite series... for now.
after that, i love fantasy, science-fiction, vampires, criminal studies, non fiction and fiction. i also enjoy books about exotic places and home design ...
i like to read.
If you have any suggestions for a good read, let me know. especially series.

Heroes:

-JUGGERNAUT, Jamie Madrox (the Multiple Man), Johnny Storm, Hulk, Ghost Rider, Deadpool, Spiderman, Impulse, Iceman, Colossus, Speedball, Vance Astro, Thanos,
-Cloud, Squall, Zitan, Vivi, Tidus, Cid, Sora, Riku
-Shaggy and Scooby, Rufus, Ron Stoppable, Edd,
-Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Cobra Commander,
-Soundwave, Optimus Prime, Grimlock,
-Childe Roland,
-Strong Bad, Da Cheat, Strong Mad
