About Me

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp I originally come from downstate NY, but have since gone to college in Oswego, graduated, and moved to Ithaca as this was the first place I found a job. Life here could be worse. I have made some good friends who are students, but mainly I am one of the locals. After 5 years you get promoted to honorific local status. ;)
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp At any rate, here I am. I have been taking quite a few sword classes recently. Goshindo, Karate, Kung-Fu and Fencing (French/Italian).
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp I work as a lab tech or "test engineer" is what it says on my business cards. Anyway, I like to tell people at the bar that I break stuff for a living. :) It is a good job and let me buy a house recently. It is nothing special, but now I don't have to worry apartment hunting anymore.
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Finally, there is my cat, Angeldust. She has lived with me for 7 years now I believe. I had been out rather late and was making my way home some time around 5:00 am and there was this cat. Just hanging around my apartment building. Well, I just sat down on the front steps and hung out with her for a while. Then I went went inside and went to sleep. When I finally woke up, she was still hanging around. Ever since then, she and I have been together. Mao!!!!!!!!! ;)

I'd like to meet:

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp I don't care. Besides, how do I know who I want to meet until I meet them. There is no need to meet people whose work I admire; it's their work that is is the focus. Contrived introductions won't make their "stuff" any better or worse. All in all, I have surrendered the hope of meeting certain people in exchange for being happy with the people I do. :)
