<[EN>]: Dj CYCO aka Cristian , 33 y.o. and a lot of time spent deejaying. It all started in '88. I began to play records in a small club in Padova feeling direct influences from the major black music source in Italy at that time: The Palladium Network. I was so passionate to their selection of funk, electric funk, soul, jazz and old skool rap, that soon I had the chance to be part of their team, running my own late night mix on their Radio and perform at the PALLADIUM DISCO CLUB during "MIC CHECK" jams for the italian hip hop scene of emcees and b-boyz. My flava was hardcore, about phat beatz and dirty versions so after a while I got in contact with Kaos One, Trix and Zero Stress Crew from Bologna and acted as guest in the famous Zona Dopa. The musical evolution continued until '98 when I got fascinated by accelerated BPM's and deep tuned basses leading me to jungle and Dnb style: my present love. Since 3 years I joined dj De-Vice and Lish MC forming COUNTERMOVE CREW resident set at the Lynx Club in Vicenza. Our monthly one-night is an important appointment for the italian dnb scene in the north-east side of Italy. Recently countermove is collaborating with: ON-LINE MUSIC MAGAZINE, MAKEOMENOISE.IT , ULTRATOMATO , and MAFFIA ILLICIT MUSIC CLUB where c-move is one of resident crews. (which is considered one of the best clubs of the "boot" for alternative sounds) and with a bunch of other partner-crews across Italy and Switzerland. Nowadays my selections are naturally intrise of soul, pushing beyond just when it's necessary... Fast Funk is the program I designed and mixed on ORION1RADIO (the first italian electronic music webradio) Check it out every Friday from 17.00 till 18.00 ! ------------------------------------------------------------ --------- <[IT>] : Al secolo Cristian , 33 anni di cui parecchi spesi nel djing , appassionatomi all'arte del running mix dalla tenera età . La mia avventura inizia presso una discoteca patavina nel lontano 1988 , influenzato dalla vicinanza del Palladium (Prima ed unica discoteca Black in Italia) e dall'omonima radio che riempiva l'etere di Funk , Soul , Jazz , Electrick Funk e Rap old skool. Fu' cosi che con l'andar del tempo mi avvicinai sempre piu' alla black music che mi porto' qualche anno dopo nell'entourage del Palladium.Vista la mia attitudine ai beats piu' "phat" e alle dirty versions rigorosamente senza censura riuscii a ritagliarmi qualche spazio ai vari "Mic Check" (jams orientate all' hip hop hardcore , freestyling , breaking, Mcing) ed a curare un ora di runnin'mix notturna dell'emittente appoggiata al locale .Da qui' approdai con diverse guest in Zona Dopa a Bologna a fianco dei mitici Kaos one , Trix e Zero stress crew.La seconda fase del mio percorso si fa sentire circa sul finire degli anni 90 , in corrispondenza della fase down dell'Hip Hop . Eccoci dunque agli albori del nuovo millenio , dove definitivamente preso bene dal crescere dei BPM e dei "deep tuned basses" mi sono appassionato alla drum'n'bass ed a sonorità piu' taglienti ed innovative del sempre fervido panorama musicale underground inglese. Questa passione ha portato i suoi frutti e premiato i miei sforzi con il progetto Countermove e la residenza presso il Maffia Club di Reggio Emilia, la collaborazione con Ultratomato, Makesomenoise online Music Magazine ed Orion1radio.
