Terror Syndrome Drum Recordings:
Ryan Van Poederooyen is a young and ambitious drummer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He mainly owes his fame to being the drummer in The Devin Townsend Band, but besides this he also offers his services as a live or studio session drummer.
Recently, he has performed on the studio albums of Christoffer Malmström's (Darkane) solo project named Non-Human Level (Listenable records, 2006), and the progressive rock album Oniric Metal by Lalu (Lion Music, 2005), among many others.
Currently, however, he has written and produced a record of his own which has been named Terror Syndrome. Ryan's brand new side project/band features an impressive list of collaborators, ranging from members of The Devin Townsend Band (and Devin Townsend himself), to Alex Skolnick (Testament), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle) and Byron Stroud (Fear Factory). Recordings are scheduled to start on September 2006 through to the Spring of 2007, where he hopes to finish and release the album world wide.
