She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

My Interests

Here lately, it's been mint hot chocolate, perfect for a winter season that's lasting too long,Yumm! But usually it's about learning how to grow up and still keep my sanity while still being free-spirited, and letting life lead me where it will. Hopefully, I'll land on my feet, if not, then I guess there's always some Shout at the nearest grocery store, to help get the stains out.

I'd like to meet:

Who wouldn't I want to meet, everyone has a story, always rather fascinating to hear it, it usually makes ya feel better about your own, or at least put it in perspective.

Music:

Oh a little of this, a little of that...maybe a little bit country, some classic rock, 80s pop, a sprinkling of some hits from musicals. And occasionally, Indigo Girls with Heart and Stevie Nicks thrown in. Ya know, the Girl Power stuff to clean house to.

Movies:

Now this is tougher, because it really is whatever strikes my fancy. Ranges from romantic comedies to action and back to the dramatic flicks, with a sprinkling of comedic spoofs and a dash of horrible horror flicks, what can I say, I'm a goof.

Television:

The only shows I'm actually addicted to are Miami Ink and OCC, go figure since currently I have neither, might explain my fascination. I otherwise will flip through 'til I find a movie or a educational type show. Ya know, such as Mythbusters, a Discovery show, something along those lines.

Books:

Terry Goodkind, Anne Rice, Margaret Weis, Charlaine Harris, JK Rowling, and without a doubt, the Narnia Chronicles. I guess I still believe in magic.

Heroes:

Why my momma and daddy, of course! Quite seriously, don't think I could've gotten a better example of what an outstanding human life lived to it's fullest should look like.
