About Me

Created at the end of the year 99 by three 13 years old lads, ARCANIA is first of all childhood friends who have the same dreams. Cyril decided to get the guitar and the voice, Guillaume took the bass and Gaby chooses the drum. All together, during more than 4 years, they recorded their first songs and played on their first stages.But in 2003, the band is smashed a tragic death. Back from a practice, Gaby died in a motor accident. that terrible loss made them wondering about the futur of the band. The kids band walk through a very hard period but kept their minds clear to continue. A Year and a half later later with a new drummer and a second guitarist, the band recorded is first maxi single in BUD RECORD studio in Bordeaux during the 2004 summer. This experience was a real therapy for the band and made them exorcise their sadness. But it led to bad relationship with the new members so only the founder members stayed on the trip. Late 2006, Cedric joined the band as guitarist and Olivier as drummer.It was a rebirth for Arcania and they can now only look forward. Early 2008, 4 new songs are recorded in BUD RECORD studio. As a pre-production to promote the band to labels and be able to record their first album SWEET ANGEL DUST . They have now a better musical personality keeping their original influences still.ARCANIA is still playing a melodic and progressive thrash metal but with a stronger agressivity. It goes constantly on the boundaries between tenderness and anger."

nouvel enregistrement/new record ???

le groupe enregistrera debut decembre une preprod de 4 nouveaux morceaux. l'album est en chantier, prévu pour 2008!!
