Playing music, listening to the droning voices all around me, staring out at the ocean, screaming in abject horror, ass-slapping...actually, slapping asses is pretty high on the list. Recently, I've begun to really dig super-long distance running. I've been a runner for a few years, but I'm talking big-ass trail runs in the mountains that go on for 5 hours. I ran my first 50 mile race in January and am preparing to run 100 in October. No, I'm not an idiot.
