Hooters of Columbia made its mark on January 15th 2006 with a VIP party that included the Mizzou band, an amazing display of fireworks from the roof of the restaurant, and a performance of the YMCA by our staff dressed in their "Village People" best. The event was attended by the top brass of the Hooters corporate office, incuding the owner of Hooters of America Coby Brooks. On opening day Columbians lined up around the building to get their taste of Hooters almost famous wings, Hooter burgers, and oysters. Thanks to these dedicated customers we broke the opening day record for the company. That was just the beginning of what has become a great relationship with the city of Columbia. We are still going strong and having a great time. Something exciting is always going on at Hooters. Come on down to Hooters and play trivia on Tuesdays, enjoy the motorcycles on Wednesday Bike Nite, or enjoy college and NFL football all weekend on one of your 46 televisions.
