I have been a sailor, an asphalt inspector and a bartender; also a medical professional, a denizen of the corporate world and a "Flying Samaritan". I consider my "farmer tan" and my un-fussy hair some sort of badge of unstudied coolness...I do fused glass art work and love to experiment with melting glass.I am as comfortable in an evening gown as in shorts and jeans or an all-business suit. I can mix it up with the best of them in a match of humor and witty remarks and I appreciate a good challenge.I try to sneak in a chapter or two of a good book and do the crossword when I can, but I have a hard time just sitting still without a really compelling reason (unless it is in the hot tub at the end of the day).I hate to be called a "girl," but make up for it with child-like (not to say "childish") behavior. "Ma'am" is right out and if you haven't figured it out, I lie about my age - just because it is much more interesting than keeping trackI own my home and am financially and emotionally secure. I drive an electric car (a real car, not a golf cart [it really does 80 on the freeway!!]).I adore people who think I am funny, love gardening, working on my house, biking, scuba diving, skiing, and laughing.
