I love listening to music, I play the electric guitar, but not that good as I am a lazy bum.
I like going to the pub with my friends to have a Strongbow or two or more.
I am always online to chat with my friends or other people or to play games, especially Enemy Territory or ET Quake Wars.
Ah, and I am not so much in love with Emmy Rossum anymore. But as she makes this profile look a little nicer I decided not to take her off. ;o)
old friends to keep in touch contact with them. But I'd also like to get to know people from all over the world to talk about strange stuff, like music and... eh... music. And life.
Draw something into my new graphicguestbook!
I am a huge music fan. I listen to my favorite songs all the time - when not asleep.
These are some of my favorite albums. I love many more, but I really don't want this small site to be filled up with pictures. Just click at "profile" at the bottom right of this box to see what I am listening to!
As you can see most of my favorites are metal bands, but I love a lot of other styles. Original, intense, melodic, progressive, loud, whatever. At least one of these attributes should fit for a band so that I might like it. As if that was hard. ;)
This week's favorite:
Jag Panzer -
Decade of the Nail-spiked Bat
I am going to Wacken Open Air regularly because it is so close from here, it seems to get worse from year to year, though. This April I was at KIT X, best line-up on a festival ever!
Star Wars IV-VI, I have been loving these since I was a child.
The Lord of the Rings movies are not as good as the books but they still rule - I'm waiting for the hobbit!
South Park is just incredibly stupid, I'm loving it - Operation Human Shield! The TV show is even better in my opinion.
The Day after Tomorrow is just fair movie, but come on, it's Emmy Rossum in it!!1elf
Lost in Translation is nice, I like Bill Murray so much, and who doesn't love Scarlett?
Mystic River is also a very nice movie, thank you Phil (damn you, stupid boys pretending to be mute)
Documentaries about nature, history, the military and whatever.
South Park and the Simpsons are the only series I like to watch.
I hardly watch TV if it's not a football (soccer :P) match.
In my new apartment I haven't got too many channels anyway.
Almost everything written by Robert Rankin, check out The Antipope.
Stupid parodies written by Adam Roberts (they are really stupid).
H.G. Wells was a great writer and visionary, The Time Machine and
The Invisible Man and also War of the Worlds (damn you, Mr. Spielberg and Mr. Cruise, for that awful movie) are masterpieces.
Forsooth, Shakespeare's Macbeth doth rule.
My most recent favorites are The Thirteen and a Half Lives of Captain Bluebear and The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers!
Among the books we read at school I liked best Oberon by Christoph Martin Wieland and Frühlings Erwachen (Spring Awakening) by Frank Wedekind.
I read most of these books in German, except for Shakespeare, so I don't know whether the English versions are any good. :o)
Shakespeare for writing Macbeth and speaking and writing in Ye Ole English
Jag Panzer for being Jag Panzer
[and writing Cold is the Blade (and the Heart that wields it)]
