Big Dan

Wudup yall, the name's Dan. Honestly, I don't enjoy things like an "About Me" because I don't believe one's opinion of another should be based on a paragraph. That should be left to do in person. But at the same time, it makes for something slightly entertaining if you have nothing else to do. Well then, how to describe myself? I'm a Republican. No, that doesn't mean that I hate abortions and homosexuals, nor does it mean that I believe drugs of any kind should be punishable by death. In fact, most of the time I can't stand politics. I just happen to agree with a more conservative view on life. I was born and raised in Westwood. I drive a Volvo with 2x10" subs in the trunk. I graduated from Pali High class of '06, and now I'm a Pre-Med Engineer at USC. I'm extremely school oriented. I believe a good education is crucial to one's reaching his or her true potential. However, it's also very important to let loose and have fun when you can. I'm the math/science type. I sometimes do enjoy the history/english/humanities categories, but only in small doses. I do, however, love grammar. I'm down to earth and I treat people with respect. I have a really wide and original sense of humor; I always know how to make someone laugh or cheer someone up. I feel that humor and laughing are essential, so I always try to keep my surrounding mood a happy or funny one. There are few things I enjoy more than good conversation. I'm all about effieciency, meaning, I don't like to do or say anything that's not needed, and I try to find the most practical way to get things done. But at the same time, I pay a lot of attention to details and I don't do things half-assed. If I want something done, I don't stop until it gets done; I don't settle for mediocrity. I'm kind of a pacifist, in that I try to end drama or tension whenever I see them. I'm Persian and Jewish, and I'm proud of it. I'm semi-fluent in Farci and Spanish. I'm left handed in writing, eating, teeth brushing, and air hockey. I love to look up and read about completely random shit on Wikipedia. Lastly, music is a HUGE part of my life. I can appreciate all kinds except country, Japanese techno, pop rock, a lot of newer rap, and whatever category Bjork is in. I play guitar and bass, and I used to play piano. I don't see music as a profession, but rather a language and a way to express oneself. To me, music is fulfilling; I just have fun with it.
