Canoma was born in 1971 and music took from the beginning an important value in his life.
He experienced his infancy and youth in the eighties which were affected permanently by new musical development and trends.
Near Mainstream the precursors of the current electronic music also stamped the music landscape.
But before Canoma discovered electronic music for himself, some time should pass.
With 14 years he began to receive lessons in drums and guitar and then created with approx. 16 years his first volume project.
Not only cover versions but own pieces were also written and were played and were perfected about the years.
Thereby attained Canoma the first abilities as a Singer and Songwriter and understood the connections of effective arrangements.
The drums became in this time his real passion, the most different rhythm sorts inspired him what predetermined his way towards Drum & Bass even then.
In 1995 he first came in contact the first time with Jungle and Drum & Bass and short time later he became a proud owner of his own Turntables.
He had already done the first walking attempts as a DJ in Techno and Trance, but soon glean the enthusiasm for the 4/4 tact.
In 1997 Canoma went to Hamburg where he soon hung up as a DJ in different bars.
Then he began to organize in 1998, together with his partner Benni Bo, every month the Druckkammer 1 in the Fundbureau as a month club for Drum & Bass.
Then the both presented from 1998 to 2003 other, regular clubs in Hafenklang, Prinzenbar and Betty Ford Klinik.
In the meantime Canoma has returned in his native town Cologne and is a part of the PLAY! Crew which has Drum & Bass monthly presents in Blue Note Club and Stadtgarten Cologne in 2005.
Since 2002 he started producing his own music and has collaborations, for example, with Amaning and J-Cut.
They had a few Releases in 2005 on Renegade Recordings, Basswerk and Phunkfiction.
Canoma had a Release on Nookie`s new MP3 Label Strictly Digital and at least he made a remix for the Cologne based Group Plus49, which will be released on Auric Enterprises on CD and vinyl and on Itunes as MP3.
More Releases of Canoma will appear in 2007..
