Howdy doody,
I haven't been able to come on here for about 3 months so I figured I may as well change some stuff. My name's Lara, I was born in Manly in Sydney, NSW then moved around for a bit until '95 when i moved to Bondi and have been there ever since, but now I live in Melbourne while I'm at uni. I go to the University of Melbourne and at the moment I'm studying Animal Science, moving into Veterinary Science eventually but I'm not so fussed about how long that takes anymore because I'm having so much FUN at the moment, probably because I live in college!! Seriously if you're not a college student then it's hard to explain how much more insane the experience is being at uni. There's ALWAYS something ON. Everyone here is so awesome too.While I'm not studying I'm usually playing sport, especially water polo which I've been playing for over 7 years now. When I was in NSW my club was UNSW Killer Whales and now that I'm in Victoria I play for Melbourne Uni, we went to Aus Uni Games in Adelaide in Sept-Oct and it was one of the most insane weeks of my life alongside Schoolies Week and O-Week! ahhhhhh! My second favourite sport would have to be soccer (outdoor and indoor), but I love all sports and have played or at least tried a majority of them I'd say!I also live for music. I've seen in excess of 250 bands perform live and I love it. It gets me on a high. I've been to lots of festivals- Big Day Out, Homebake, Splendour In The Grass etc., and I have lots and lots of gigs coming up soooo yayyy. (!)My friends are awesome. Couldn't live without them, both in Sydney and Melbourne. That's another good thing about living interstate for Uni, I now have a network of friends from all over the world!!! I go out as much as I can, which is a lot lately, but as long as I'm having fun I don't care where I go.Anddd..as you can probably guess, I love animals..All my jobs have only ever been with animals so I guess that explains why I want to be a vet one day...not for a while though, for now I just wanna have fun. I've got a Mini Schnauzer called Floyd and he's the most awesome dog ever lol seriously he's too smart. Annnd I have heaps of tropical fish which I breed when I can be bothered, and a fighter fish called Wally.
I also enjoy arty things like photography, videography, drawing and stuff like that, reading although I haven't done that for ages apart from my 34032459kg biology textbook for uni. And I like watching movies and running when my leg isn't decapitated and buying presents for people and all that jazz.I wish I could write at least this much of my essay lol.
