I was born in a small town in Eastern Kentucky called Paintsville, not far from Loretta Lynn and Crystle Gale's birth place. I graduated from Paintsville High in 1960. Joined the Army in 1960. Attended college while in the Army (BA degree in Business Admin). Served three tours in the Eroupean Theater (9 years). Discharged from the Army at Fort Jackson, SC in 1973. Bought my current home in Columbia, SC in 1973 (Paid off in 2003). Attended Midlands Tech in Columbia, SC (1975 - 1977, AA degree in Computer Science.
