I'm a 45 year old husband, father and businessman. I'm married to a righteous babe who is captivatingly beautiful inside and out. We've been married over 20 years and have the wounds, wisdom and love to show for it - I wouldn't trade the years for anything. We have a talented and strong son who continually impresses us and a beautiful and delightful young daughter who amazes us every day. We are priviledged to have them as children and friends.

I spent 20 years in the music business before switching to a career in the automotive remarketing industry. I'm Product Manager of Inspections for Manheim, Inc. and love EVERY minute of my new life. Who knew I could do more than hit drums?

Please take a moment and visit MY WEBSITE! Check out the blog and early details about my book: Why I Failed in the Music Business, and How NOT to Follow In My Footsteps. My goal is to help anyone pursuing, or thinking about pursuing, a career in the music business. Hope it helps

God Bless!

My Interests

Who I used to be: I'm the one in the middle - it's the Gibson/Miller band. Now I'm totally into self development, success, financial literacy, reading, writing, riding dirt bikes, hanging with friends and family, playing music occasionally, teaching my kids to be better than me, building stuff and cooking (sometimes)

Music:

Switchfoot (the most significant band around. They're everything U2 wishes they could be), Sting, Celine Dion, Patty Loveless, Steely Dan, Amanda Marshall, Toto, Nickle Creek, Prince, a lot of jazz and classical and Earth, Wind and Fire. Oh yeah, and the Gibson/Miller Band too.

Movies:

A Knights Tale, National Treasure, Braveheart (though I skip through the ending - Yuck!), Gladiator, A Princess Bride, Toy Story 1 & 2, Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles (and I'm sure I'll love Cars too) The Notebook, Saving Grace, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and West Side Story.

Television:

Everybody Loves Raymond, 24, The Gilmore Girls (though the season ended really bad), The Apprentice (though I'm losing interest) and any racing I can find on any channel.

Books:

The Bible, Wild At Heart, Waking The Dead, Captivating (anything from John Eldridge), Personality Plus, The Five Love Languages, Rich Dad Poor Dad (anything from Robert Kiyosaki) and How to Win Friends and Influence People.

Heroes:

My Lord Wife, son and daughter. Stan, Emily C., The Meeks (8 and counting) and the incredible teens and young adults at Smyrna Assembly.
