My relationships with God, family and friends are very important to me. Those come first and foremost. On a personal level, I'm an aspiring writer, actor, painter and cook who loves music, movies, books, comedy, art and antiques. However, music would have to be my biggest hobby/passion. Singing, writing, vocally arranging - I love to do it all... I enjoy most any kind of music, except scary metal and hard core rap. One of my favorite things in life is to discover a new (or new to me) artist whose music impacts me.
Folks that inspire me, encourage me, or just make me laugh...

Chick Movies Rock!!!! Like most estrogen-based life forms, I enjoy good romantic comedies, English costume dramas and old musicals. Especially if they mix comedy and romantic themes well - like 'The Princess Bride', for example. But classic films are the best - actors like Gregory Peck, Dick Van Dyke, Danny Kaye, Cary Grant, Bobby Darin, Jimmy Stewart, Bing Crosby, Howard Keel, Jane Powell, Debbie Reynolds, Sandra Dee, Doris Day and of course, Judy Garland created some great art that stands the test of time! I also really enjoy British humor (Monty Python, Wallace & Gromit) as well as the work of Tyler Perry and Christopher Guest...
BBC America is the best!! I have a new favorite show called "Clatterford". It was created, written and directed by Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders - the creative geniuses behind "French & Saunders", "The Vicar of Dibley" and "Absolutely Fabulous". This show centers around the church altar guild of a small English town. The scenery of the English countryside is be-u-ti-ful!! And the show is spiritual, poignant and yet hilarious... I laugh out loud during every episode.
Other than the Bible, let me make it easier and just list a few of my favorite authors, instead of specific books, okay? Here goes: Harper Lee, Jane Austen, LM Montgomery, Dee Henderson, Dorothy Gilman, Dick Francis, Lori Wick, C.S. Lewis, Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham, William Shakespeare, Agatha Christie, Emilie Loring, John & Stasi Eldridge, Stormie Omartian, Denise Hildreth, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, Mark Twain, Donald Miller, Fannie Flagg, Betty Malz, Shalom Aleichem and William Faulkner.
God & My Parents. Others who have inspired me greatly are my Aunt - Betty Malz, Sarah Cannon (Ms. Minnie Pearl), Carol Burnett, Dolly Parton, Dale Evans Rogers & Paula Deen.
