The Second Best Poet on Myspace

I'm not a stalker, I just like to watch.

About Me

Ever wonder what it would be like to be someone like Kierkegaard - absolutely brilliant, way ahead of your time, and not at all recognized for your genius during your life? Well I'm here to tell you that it's not as bad as it sounds. I'm one of the best poets of all time, though I've retired from writing poetry and am currently resting on my unrecognized laurels. I've posted some of my work on here. Go ahead and check it out if you want to see what future generations will look back on as the most worthwhile product of our times.

My Interests

Molding life's mysteries into words that tear apart your soul and build something new and beautiful out of the shreds. And boobs are neat too.

I'd like to meet:

Even though I'm one of the most incredible poets who will ever live, I'm pretty down to earth and am cool about meeting the little people. So if you see me in the street don't be afraid to say hi, fall at my feet, whatever.

Music:

Bob Dylan is a genius, obviously, and he's my favorite. I guess classic rock and punk are my favorite, but I like a bunch of other crap too. And when I say crap I mean crap. I very much enjoy Linkin Park and I think Snoop Dogg is the Bob Dylan or rap (you know, because of his lyrical brilliance. "Don't let me slip, because if I slip then I'm slippin'." Amazing.) Basically, I think I'm completely tasteless naturally and, left to my own devices, I would just listen to whatever crap was played around me. Luckily, I've had a few friends who have been able to get me into some legitimately good stuff.

Movies:

Fight Club and American Beauty are my favorites.

Books:

A Prayer for Owen Meany, Catch 22, The Wheel of Time series, My Name is Asher Lev, most of Chuck Palahnuik's books, C.S. Lewis' stuff, and Insight. At least those are the first ones that come to mind.

Heroes:

Jarred from the Subway commercials. He's so brave and dreamy...
