DESIGNER BIO
Rochelle Rodriguez started out a little girl playing dress up in her grandmother's closet. Complete with fur coats, over-sized heels, and costume jewelry. She then moved on into her preteens with, "This is Style on CNN, I'm Elsa Clinch." This proper English correspondent had replaced her Saturday morning cartoons with Linda Evangalista and Cindy Crawford. Through her high school years tear outs from Vogues were taped up along side Jordan Knight and Mariah Carey.
These days the design studio is covered in fashion magazines, clothes, a rack full of samples and patterns, and one crooked dress form she got on sale when she finished fashion school. When asked about her designs she says, "It is my art and my life. My only goal is create beautiful things that women will feel special in. The kind of clothing that says "Eat your heart out!" to an old lover or "How do you like me now," as Toby says!"
A native of Tyler, Texas Rochelle moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to pursue a career in the fashion industry. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where she received her degree in Fashion Design.Rochelle also has a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from the University Of North Texas.

Rochelle Rodriguez Clothing was created in the fall of 2005. The designer, Rochelle, had a personal desire to create what she could not find in the market place. That being, comfortable, wearable clothing that did not apologize for female curves, yet highlighted them. Clothing that was chic and flirtatious without being a trendy, and items that would stay in a woman’s closet for years to come.
Rochelle Rodriguez Clothing is devout in its mission to create clothing that inspires, compliments, and captures the beauty of being a woman. In addition our company will strive to use images and designs that promote a healthy body image. We believe that a woman should have that one outfit in her wardrobe that makes her feel special, whether she is an extra small or an extra large. We want to be that outfit!
