About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

I grew up on a farm with horses and cows and brothers and later studied biology. I would dearly like to front my own nature programme, I could be the steve irwin of new zealand, except instead of wrestling crocs and snakes I would be running down flightless birds. I actually met steve irwin once at the Orcland airport and asked him if he was in NZ on holiday, and he said 'every days a holiday when you're the crocodile hunter'! Failing this I could be a travel presenter. Actually I recently tried couch surfing, which is a great way to meet people and their countries and you get to keep your dollaros for more important stuff. Theres a website called couchsurfing.com or something along those lines, you just go there find someone with a couch in the place youre heading, send a few emails and hey presto you have a spot to stay. Thats right, perfect strangers just take you in. All you have to do is the dishes. Im dreaming of making a doco 'couch surfing the world', just need a partner in crime and someone who knows cameras. Any takers? Now if this plan doesnt work I think I'll work hard to improve my guitar skills and start a girl band. I have a few tunes, so if theres a girl out there who knows how to sing... maybe plays a bit a piano.. I have recently taken up knitting which is great fun. The book Im learning from suggests I start a 'stitch and bitch' so if theres any sheilas (or blokes) out there that wanna learn a craft and the latest goss.. and this would of course lead to a sideline designing clothes. And once Im rich from all these exploits, Im going to ride around the world on a motorbike.

My Interests

playing gtar, learning languages, motorbikes, bikes, knitting, dancing, having a laugh, taking photos, working with animals.

I'd like to meet:

my maker, and point out a few design faults

Music:

A good live band is the shiz. I like it when friends make me a cd or recolend something (this is where they tell you its good and let you borrow it). I like to buy a cd I know nothing about and have no preconceptions of and listen to it with undivided attention and read all the lyrics.

Movies:

I like a good horror or whodunnit. I like foreign movies, I get sick of the same old hollywood point of view. And comedies, you know, ripping good yarns.

Television:

I like old brit comedies like blackadder, young ones, bottom, faulty towers, absolutely love keeping up appearances and american ones like simpsons, futurama, family guy. I like a good nature programme and music television especially when they play old skool videos that youve never seen but you know the song so well.

Books:

my dad is making me read 'your money life-line to financial freedom' and my ma is making me read one called 'ghost dancer' about a gay dancer with aids, which is actually very well written.
