Tight Manners

You do talk about yourself a lot but that's preferable to having a really boring two way conversation with someone like this Bob: ' Zoe, have you seen The Three Colours Trilogy?' Zoe :' No Bob, I don't believe I have, would you care to tell me about it?' Bob : 'Sure, they're really good.' Silent pause that lasts too long, accompanied by staring at the wall for a bit and uncomfortable smiling... Zoe :' I'm really good, all my stories are the best, you and everyone else fancy me and want to smooch my face. Ah ha ha ha ha aha ha all my jokes are brilliant...' Bob:' Thank God for that - I'm glad you are an instigator and you tell me what to do because my conversation dries up after Hi! Ha ha aha ahh ha ha aha ha I'm having much more fun now!' Tons of laughter from everyone in the pub, cheeky clink of wine glasses, cue cheesy broadway style music, the side of the pub moves out of the way and you begin to walk out into the street, old ladies throw their walking sticks to the ground and do the splits, elephants with midgets in belly dancing outfits appear, the sick are healed, the hungry fed, the lonely embraced by a familiar face, babies are born, the sun is shining, world peace is inevitable...
