I made my name in the 1980's playing for Western Suburbs (Brisbane), the Great Manly Sea Eagles, Queensland in Origin, and the Aussie team. I later went on to finish my tragic playing career with the Easts. I've hosted The Rugby League Footy Show with Peter Snorkela Sterling since 1994, propelling me to stardom. 9:30 thursday nights turn onto the greatest station ever channel 9 and you might just hear some old men trying to get a laugh.I coped a head knock (which the doctors told me it was a serious concussion but what would they know) in 2005 filming for the show in a segment called "Anti-Ad", when I hit my head on concrete, with a helmet luckily minimising the damage. I didn't host for 10 or so weeks. Fortunately or unfortunatley for those who watch the show, I later returned in the 2005 season of the Footy Show, but I've vowed not to do any more stupid stunts.In the 1994 cricket exhibition match celebrating the playing career of the great AB Border, I took one of the greatest catches of all time, some call it the flukiest catch ever seen in any form of cricket but if you look at the people who are saying it they clearly no nothing and it was the highlight of my life. It has also been parodied by The Twelfth Man, and partially due to this parody it is sometimes referred to as "That Fucking catch".
