Music, reading, films, travelling, beards, maps, real ale and old man pubs, photography, graphic novels, transport, walking in the countryside, philosophy... Lots of things that I have a vague, amateurish understanding of and which I should probably study properly, but don't... umm.... not sports.
Cool, intelligent people who aren't afraid to be serious or funny depending on what the situation (doesn't) call for. Also anyone who'd like to start a band. I play guitar, and sing, sort of, and I have enough pent up frustration to rock your balls off.
Oh, and if you're going to make friends, send us a message first, love. Cheers.
Lots, I go through phases, though of course I have the obligatory list of bands who I like most of the time. Anything challenging and/or exciting that opens my ears, and maybe my heart. Not Coldplay.
Anything atmospheric. Most things by Richard Linklater and Gus van Sant. Loads of others... Withnail & I... er.... lists are shit...
I'd sooner read a book or watch a film, or go for a walk, but if it makes me laugh I'll watch it.
I should mention Rosemary & Thyme, though - probably the best show about closeted lesbian gardeners who solve crimes that I've ever seen.
1984, The New York Trilogy, The Tin Drum, Regeneration, Moominvalley Midwinter, Catch 22, ones with nice pikshurs, Fighting Fantasy...
Jesus. Wait, I mean Hey Arnold!
