Another huge category for me....Top of the list is Jimmy Buffett and Terri Clark. I know, there's a huge disparity between the two types of music, but that is me.I love the 70's disco/dance stuff like Wild Cherry, Right Said Fred, The Ohio Players, etc.....Also like Linda Ronstadt, Kenny Chesney......love the old rock stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd...especially classic groups like Montrose with a very young Sammy Hagar....In addition to the funky stuff like Rick James...I like some Rap, like Nelly....also like Buck Cherry...Listen to Sublime sometime....what a waste of a great talent...The old Motown tunes like The Four Tops....love the Black Crowes...The Pretenders (with Chrissie Hynde) and of course, the Hollies.
Woo...haven't been to one in a long while, but liked "War of the Worlds".Also really liked Ghost Ship, a very underrated movie with a killer soundtrack...Love old movies with Betty Davis and the like....Kate Hepburn, Myrna Loy/Bill Powell (The Thin Man series), etc.Loved the Indiana Jones movies as well. You have to admit, Harrison Ford is one sexy something in those shows....
I really don't know what's on when, but I do watch "No Reservations" with bad boy Tony Bourdain...Love "Sex and the City". My s/o bought me the COMPLETE "Sex and the City" set (the deluxe, deluxe edition) for Christmas. The ULTIMATE gift, in my opinion!!Also love the cooking channel and like to watch those haunted shows on Discovery too....cheap thrills, I know.
Just finished Tony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential" and loved it...also have read "A Cook's Tour" and "The Nasty Bits". Eating at a restaurant will never be the same again...Love anything by Stephen King. Not as much time to read nowadays, but still love a good book. It's always "better than the movie".
