General wu was formed in the beginning of 2005, the singer claes picked up the phone and called his mates Robin Martin and Danne and said that "we have to do somthing about the rock indie scen in norrköping, there are no bands!!" then they all agreed that somthing had to be done.. they called in Totte and Gevva and a band was put together. The name General wu they got from the chinese general who let the enemy thru the chinesewall to save his eternal love.. Now General wu was formed.. they started playing small clubs in there hometown and fronting bands like johnossi and got great rewiews from magazines and webzines.. General wus members comes from very different musical backgrounds the influenses stretchess from kings of leon to metallica.
