I imagine a world that could be, where humans live in timeless stone domes, travel by high speed tunnels, produce food underground with light carried by reflective tubes and use energy produced harnessing geothermal heat. I picture a reality where humans share with each other, create a world of permanence, and rediscover meaningful conversation.
The solution to all the problems in our society is not to fight it, but to teach it. If plans for an ideal society were made available, and an example structure was built. Then used as an advertisement to market the structure to all of man kind. The flow of energy into this new vision would grow exponentially.
A single structure could include: Housing, industry, retail and trade, schools, communal kitchens and restaurants, covered communal areas, bars, playgrounds, pools, sports, theater, games, a skate park and a hospital. There can be anything we want, and it can be a gift to future generations.
The highest priority is harmonization with nature. It is time to become givers instead of takers. The only possibility of maintaining a balanced ecosystem on earth is if man kind puts forth an incredible amount of positive energy to offset our destructive past. This may include using science to add O-zone (O3) to our atmosphere, uncap thousands of acres of concreted land, transport water back to the ice caps, neutralize toxins, and recreate populations of indigenous species.
If enough people built a model society together, for each other, and to show the world, then we could plant the seed for paradise on earth. The most value asset in or out of this world is time, so we all have something to give. The technology is there, as well as enough humans to accomplish anything if they work together. If we mix technology and nature, with science and art, throw in some stone, stainless steel and glass, and we get remembered for thousands of years.. If ever there was a time to prove we don't need to burn fossil fuels to be happy.. I think this it.
Until we show the world a better way to live, things will keep getting worse, and the wars and poverty will continue.
