Nailbomb was a short-lived band side project of Max Cavalera (Sepultura), and Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel). The group also boasted guest spots from several musicians (DH Peligro - Dead Kennedys, Dino Cazares - Fear Factory, Igor Cavalera - Sepultura, among others.).
Nailbomb's first (and only) studio album, Point Blank, was a rough mixture of thrash metal, industrial, and hardcore punk. They did a hand full of live performances before dissolving. There was no big reason for the project ending; it was intended to be brief in the first place.
Nailbomb's second (and final) album-Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide and DVD-Live at Dynamo, were live recordings capturing the band's appearance at the 1995 Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindhoven, Netherlands, to a crowd of nearly 100,000.
