Harry Pothead

So my real name is Ben, but people call me Harry because of my glasses and some other activities that I partake in. I've been known to supply the fun.
I'm a devout neo-pagan, with philosophical ties to Taoism. I'm not spritual, that just means you like the idea of God, but don't like the rules. I'm a martial artist, with special training in the use of the katana. If the thought of a grown man swinging a violent weapon of death disturbs you, then GO AWAY. I don't have time for you. It doesn't seem to bother my cat, Jao-Ying. Just think of me as a scholar-warrior, though I prefer the term Ronin.
I like tats and piercings, but currently have neither. Over the course of this year, I plan to fix that. The piercings are easy enough, but I will only get tats that I myself have designed. I also want to suspend myself from hooks in my back.
School is on hold right now, although I could finish in a semester. I suppose I'm a little too laid back, but I'd like to live a little. I'm a design major, specializing in Computer Animation.
But it's only a hobby! Ever since I'd heard about Weiner Circle in Chicago(Come for the food, stay for the abuse), It is now my dream to own a burger joint where late-night food is served up to drunken college students with a generous side of sass.
And to that end I have put education on hold to learn the ins and outs of the restaraunt biz. I now work at a well-known sandwich shop here in SLO, and I love it. I'll still do freelance graphics work now and then, often in trade for some other service. The barter system sure is nifty.
NOV. 21 UPDATE: I've moved back home to Santa Maria, have gone back to school, work at a different deli, and my cat is dead.
