About Me
I have been in town for fourteen years, running my own business, writing, and supporting my family. I've been married twenty two years and have two beautiful daughters, one who graduated this year, whom I'm very proud of the young lady she has become. She has spent her first summer as a young adult in NYC working at a retreat for under privledged children. I am so proud that she got that experience. I am also proud of my youngest daughter, who is becoming of herself, she's my little rocker. Loves the music my parents didn't want me to listen to, but I kinda like alot of it. She began to take piano lessons and is doing really great with them. Maybe she'll become the next Sarah Mc. Whatever she chooses, I'll support her because that's what we dad's do.
I have developed alot of great relationships with alot of great people, writers, young artist and just cool people. I enjoy hanging with alot of the older and wiser writers in town and listening to the stories from their past about how the music industry was in their hay day(wish it were still like that). And I enjoy the relationships with the younger generation who share the same dreams that I do. I'm trying harder to stay focussed on why I came to town and not getting so frustrated with this user friendly town but just enjoy the ride. I look forward to doing more of what I'm doing, writing more with great writers, building stronger friendships and business relationships, getting a song cut or two, and just enjoying life with my family and friends. I'm also trying to build a better relationship with my Father, knowing my purpose, knowing His purpose, so many times in life I've lost track of just where my faith lies, where those blessings come from, that His grace is free, we're all just a work in progress. We all have a past, we all have regrets, but we have a future, we find redemption, forgiveness and we live, not worrying about that past, just living for the moment. Since being in Nashville I've always thought of myself as a survivor, but it's really just been God, taking care of his children, so I can take care of mine.
