A headline, how does a human have a headline?

About Me

Young professional living in downtown Indianapolis working my first post-college job, and what fun it is, I guess this makes me part of the embattled youth of America trying to fight to get ahead in our crumbling American society. I went to school for agricultural business management and now I am managing a store for Sears Holdings Corporation, a bit of a change of focus after spending eight years in horticulture but I am enjoying it thus far. And the part of having a regular paycheck is great. Of course work takes a large part of my time but when not doing that I enjoy reading mainly non-fiction about politics, sociology and religion. A fan of watching football when I get the chance, go Boilers and Colts. Then anything outdoors is great fun whether fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, swimming or anything else. Add in just hanging out with friends and kicking back with a few beers and that is the jist of my free time.

My Interests

Harry's, time spent with friends, fishing, dancing, drinking, current events, political activism, and numerous other activities.

I'd like to meet:

Don't really use myspace much, more of an facebook person but figured would create one anyway and I would like to meet anyone that has similar interests to me or someone totally different to create some intellectual discourse.

Music:

Dolly Parton, Bright Eyes, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, Scissor Sisters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mellencamp, Sister Hazel, Johnny Cash, so pretty much any rock, country, and alternative.

Movies:

Donnie Darko, Dune, Patton, The Longest Day, The Dirty Dozen, The Devil's Brigade, There's Something About Mary, Gone With The Wind, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Vanity Fair, Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady, Glory, Gettysburg, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Spaceballs, History of the World, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, and most other war, musical, and comedy movies.

Television:

Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, MASH, Hogan's Heroes, McHales' Navy, Scrubs, King of the Hill, Keeping Up Appearances, As Time Goes By, Are You Being Served, South Park, Samurai Jack and many others.

Books:

The Da Vinci Code, Vanity Fair, Pride and Prejudice, The American Theocracy, Religion Gone Bad, Jesusland, The Federalist Papers, Bait and Switch, Self Made Man, and most other books about politics, religion, and current events.

Heroes:

I do not think there are really heroes in this world. We should not idealize anyone. There are people who have done great works to better humanity and role models in our life. But the concept of a hero describes perfection and no one is.
