My Interests

I love theatre - can't get enough of the stuff! I've been involved in over twenty productions since I was 13. I enjoy both acting and tech. I bounce back and forth between on and off stage to keep both sides of me happy. My favorites have been stage managing and lighting director, and my favorite role was my first - as Beth in The Best Christmas Pagent Ever. I love kids, and playing with my puppy, Briscoe, is top on my list, too! I've started a business in scrapbooking and stamping, and hopefully I will one day make enough doing that so I can become a stay-at-home mom!

I'd like to meet:

I'm still working on this one..... Read my VisualDNA ™ Get your own VisualDNA™

Music:

I enjoy pretty much anything except rap, hip-hop, that whole scene - just not a big fan. Musical soundtracks are probably my favorite. I usually just hit "shuffle songs" on my iPod and let the music gods choose...:-)

Movies:

Dead Poet's Society and Newsies are my top two favorites. Of course, the Harry Potter series (I think the third one is my favorite, even though when it first came out, I didn't like it because it was so different from the first two, but now I think that the third one is the best, and that the first two should have been more like it). And lately, I've realized that I really like anything with Reece Witherspoon...and though I don't keep up with celebs, I think it's absolutely awful that she and her hubby are splitting!!!

Television:

Thursday nights are devoted to Grey's Anatomy! I really enjoy Brothers and Sisters, and I'm sticking with Desperate Housewives, even though I'm not too thrilled with it. It's kinda like your football team - you have to be supportive even when they're on a losing streak, cause it's your team. I love Friends, and miss it terribly - I get my fix through the seasons on DVD. I'm addicted to TNT - Law and Order: SVU, Without a Trace, Charmed, Judging Amy - if it weren't for TNT, we could probably get rid of our cable.

Books:

JULY 21!!!!! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows...I can't wait! I've got to start reading books 1-6 soon, so I can finish before then! J.K.-you were supposed to give me at least a year! Okay...other books...I really reccomend Lamb: The Gospel according to Biff, Jesus' Childhood Pal to anyone who doesn't have a conservative bone in their body. The Giver is my all-time favorite book from my childhood (that and Kitty's New Doll). I don't make time to read as much as I'd like to...maybe someday!

Heroes:

Hands down, my husband. He stands up for what he believes. I can't ask for anything more.

So...my last post was a little negative, I'll admit. It was a rough day! Mark and I met up with some of his friends from Martin last night at the Sounds Game, and they pointed out that, according to m...
