My Interests

All sorts...... Guinness mainly..and the countryside ....ive always been interested in history and old architecture....and have been researching my family tree with my dad (yes, that may seem quite dull..but i dont really care what you think)Am vaguely artistic, but it doesnt often surface to its full potential (god sounds like a comment on my old school reports).....love M C Escher's work and also Giger amongst many others......MUSIC!! (i must stress.. purely as a spectator/listener)...i have been lamely trying to teach myself guitar for god knows how long now and funnily enough still havent made much improvement...but i give myself 10/10 for effort!....love going out to all kinds of gigs..esp where there's good local bands involved...i've put a list below of some good bands that need your attention & affection....

I'd like to meet:

Cos you'd be well gutted if the person you want to meet turns out to be a complete tosser......so mines gonna be a cheesy one ...my great grandfather, cos im sure he must've been cool ......or maybe some intense an amusing people...Samuel L Jackson or Eddie Izzard.
You Belong in Amsterdam
A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city). What European City Do You Belong In?

Music:

...esp live...i've got quite an oddly mixed musical taste....... At the Drive In, Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Sonic Youth, Weezer (early stuff), Kyuss, Rage Against the Machine, Muse, Radiohead, Pearl Jam (mostly early stuff), Bright Eyes, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down (early stuff), Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Foo Fighters (early stuff), Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, Korn (early stuff), The Mars Volta, Shellac, The Crocketts, A Perfect Circle, And You Will Know us by the Trail of Dead, The Icarus Line, The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, Fugazi, Deftones, Aphex Twin, Seafood, Ben Harper,Jeff Buckley ......and too many more to name off the top of my head......ooh except Isis and Cult of Luna........................................................ ............................................................ ......................................................Heres some relatively "unknown" bands that i like who i feel deserve as much love as can be given!...most (if not all) have a myspace with tracks of theirs on, so get on & check 'em out...an if you like them show them your support (and your money lol) and get down to their next gig!...you've been told!!..(not all of them are that local but hey)...:- Sourpuss, Iron Flag, With Scissors, I Breath Spears, Phil Collins 3, Lying Seasons, Tyler Rome, Action & Action, Illuminati 3 (alas no more, but still worth a mention!), The Swarm ...also Yuuki who are awsome (they dont have a drummer at the mo tho =( )...im sure there's more bands i should be telling people about but cant think at the moment!
