About Me

Hmmm. I'm still alive, which often comes as a wonder. I have really bad teeth - they're mostly metal. Soft as Styrofoam, I tells ya. I love Music. And Radio. I've been on Flirt FM (see friends list or www.flirtfm.org) on and off for the last 10 years. I have an odd fixation with politics. Oh, and I'm training to be an Artist/Printmaker. I'll shove photos up here as time goes on. And also on www.donalfall.com, but that's being a slow task... atm it sucks.

My Interests

Radio. Music. Art. Comics. RPG's. Horror. Movies. Horror Movies. Zombies are cool too.

I'd like to meet:

Leonardo Da Vinci. John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough. Goya. H.P. Lovecraft. Jim Morrison. Andy Warhol. Toni Halliday. Al Jourgensen(sp?). Simon Pegg.

Music:

Curve. More Curve. Orbital. The Aphex Twin. Mansun. Faith no More (and everything else Mike Patton-y). Alice in Chains. Almost everything "Madchester". The Doors. Ian Brown. Ministry. I really hate "Chain Reaction" by Diana Ross. Like, REALLY. The 13th Floor Elevators. Julian Cope. And I do like the odd bit of Sonic Youth.

Movies:

Anime - Ghost in the Shell Comedy - Grosse Pointe Blank Thriller - Gorky Park Romance - As good as it gets Historical - Downfall Horror - Hmmmm Dark Water Action - Aliens

Television:

Don't really watch TV. "House" is good though, as is "Lost". Band of Brothers and Rome amounted to the best TV ever, in my opinion. If anyone gets the chance to watch Paramount Comedy's "Badly Dubbed P*rn", they should - its very, very funny.

Books:

I own lots of these, you think it would be easy to pick out some favourites. Fantasy - The Malazan Book of the Fallen or The Chronicles of Morgaine. History - The History of Warfare by Keegan! It's brilliant - and not just about war. Art - Goya by Robert Hughes.

Heroes:

See who I'ld like to meet, above...

My Blog

Society of Spectacle, or just good Marketing?

So what the hell just happened in the Eurovision? I'm listening to what sounds like a third rate metal band sing a third rate entry to a hard rock contest, never mind the international cheese fest tha...
