Quesdarado, Born June 1982 in Bridgeport, Ct’s Bridgeport Hospital from his heart and soul, Donna Marie Fewell. There, he resided in the Notorius P.T Barnum Projects along with 9 other siblings....6 brothers and 3 sisters. Growing up in an extremely violent and drug infested area, young Quesdarado and his family suffered hard-ship financially, and emotionally. Donna, being a single "Strong African American Queen", striving to support 10 children off 2 jobs......but unable to get ahead. This is how young Quesdarado’s life became.......
Being in a state of poverty, 3 of the eldest brothers, Tookie, Jay-Bird, and Big Shove took on the game to help support their family. About 1987, they began drug dealing, robbing, stealing and engaging in occcasional shootouts. Though the second eldest, "Big Shove" had other things besides hustling in his plan "shall say".Big Shove was also and still a great artist, rapper and music producer. Being too young to be involved, Quesdarado sat back and observed everything. Taking a fond liking to poetry and music, young Quesdarado begun writing poetry to melodies. Day by day, Quesdarado would sit by Big Shove’s door and listen deeply!! Big Shove and his entourage;Wes Nash, Ak-Z, Mike, Philly Blunt(R.I.P), and others would have freestyle sessions. Young Quesdarado then practiced they way they delivered their rhymes.....an artist was bred.
Few years later, young Quesdarado in the same spot in front of Big Shove’s door, was caught tuning in and brought into the room. Handed a 40oz of Private Stock from Philly, Quesdarado was asked,"Can you "spit" young blood?" Without further discussion i recited; "I be da Jay-Weed/ N’ my mic is free/ I got mad skillz like Fab 5 in me/ I never give up to no fake MC’s/ Put on ya red and blue shades, I’m comin real like 3D!!!!" OoooooHHHH....these lyrical legends burst out!!! Proud of what they heard.....the molding began for Quesdarado. Big Shove took a great interest in "Jay-Weed", now Quesdarado, and left the game along with the eldest Tookie, who moved to South Carolina due to drug problems. Jay-Bird, continuing his reign in the drug game, and Quesdardo went on to win his first talent show with his best friend "Tank".
October 1992, the rain came pouring on the family. The eldest Stephen "Tookie" Fewell passed away in his sleep without any probable cause in Rockhill, South Carolina of the grandmother’s home. Making things worse, the family were a few dollars from orphans. The drug businuess got slow for Jay-Bird due to "better" quality, and Donna losing her job. Young Quesdarado mourned for months, feeling like life has given up on him......he then changed for the worst......
"Fam had to eat so I stampede da game/ I sold everythang from trash weed to cane/".........
Fast forward to 1994, Quesdarado was introduced to the game by a young O.G, "Big Mikey" aka "D.S". Taking Quesdarado under his wing, teaching him how to hustle hard. He even gave Quesdarado his first "burna", a chrome 38 revolver. But Quesdarado’s mentor caught a case, and would be temporarily gone. So he rolled solo until 95 when he met Puda Jack and child hood friends; E-Velli, D.Wiggz, A.D, Lucky Luciano, and Base a.k.a Voisier; And all of each were and still lyrically gifted. Which influence Quesdarado to pick his mic up once again. In 95 Quesdarado and A.d went on to win a talent show, where they performed a freestyle off Ghost Face’s "Motherless Child" instrumental. There were many other contestants, but they were no match for the dual. Boosting Quesdarado’s confidence once again, he picked up his pen and pad once again.......but.....he still hugged the blocks.
"I hugged da block like I missed it, tryin to get my bank large/ So my people in da projects can throw away they State Cards/"............
From 1996-1999, Quesdarado made quite a name for himself in the streets. Becoming one of the hottest MC’s in Bridgeport. What made him so "ill", he flowed it and lived it, and still do......
Backing up to 98, his first son was born. That made him more ambitious to succeed in the crack or rap game. But in the streets, not everything goes by plan! Quesdarado was arrested numerous counts of narcotics, along with others I wish not to "unmask" due to ongoing investigations, indictments, and trials. Quesdarado fleed from possible jail time and was put on the "Fugitive Task Force" State’s Most Wanted list. A year on the run, he was "HotLined" and captured October 3, 2000. He was sentence to 5 years in Ct’s Department of Corrections, but spent 3 years before released on parole.
Where then he met Massadon, and Verbal Kemp, two great MC’s out of Waterbury, CT. Quesdarado elaborate further by saying,"We had too many differences.....(laughing confident) there’s only 1 King."Going again as a solo artist, Quesdarado ventures Upstate NY.
"Grav, hold ya head! I know it seems da waits long/ But it’s more obstacles we have to take on/ Between hataz n’police/ They want da boy stored like froze meat/ But I gottem, I know me/"
2005, Quesdarado ventured his way Upstate Ny where he met; Producer/Artist Gravity law, Producer/Artist Unyke. Where he also bumped heads with "Ruff and Rugged" legend Ray Poetic. The three together bring "soul to the food" when making music. Bringing you the catchy hook, hot 16’s and one of the hottest beats "Smilez R’Pretend"! Also,Quesdarado’s 1 street crusher "The Hurt" featuring Gravity Law/produced by Gravity Law; Club banger like "I Got Da Streetz Goin’Crazy" featuring Mama Pearl and Gravity Law/produced br Gravity Law, Co-produced by Quesdarado. Quesdarado also shows his "vocal" side on the hot track "Better Not Cross Me" produced by Unyke and many others.
"One life, One love, You know it’s One King/ If you can find da motive, you can find da culprit/ Yes, I’m da voice that’ll knock out his fortrace/ CT’s your majesty, I’ll showem’ who da Boss is/"
So, it seems the King is here to stay!! Upon writing this, I’ve seen and heard his hurts and happiness. But most of all, I felt his compassion for music, and the love and loyalty for his people. There’s lots more to write about Quesdarado....but he perfer us to wait for the documentary on DVD titled "BLOOD ROYAL". What an amazing artist......ALL HAIL KING QUESDARADO!!!!!!!!
