World Prayer Community

The World Prayer Community was established in January, 2006 as a nondenominational, Christian support Ministry for those who have chosen a prayerful lifestyle. We all know what an awesome power prayer is, it doesn't matter if we are asking God for something, praising or thanking God. He hears us and listens to us. While we are Christian oriented, we welcome all faiths who believe in God and believe that prayer is a way of communicating, talking, with Him. We recognize that there are many forms of prayer including formal prayer (the Lords Prayer for example), informal prayer(conversational), and we can't forget music. It is said that music, particularly singing, is praying twice. We are using our voices and our talents at the same time. While supporting each other in our prayer lives is a major function and goal of WPC, another and just as important function that we perform is to lift up in prayer, those who need special attention from God, be it in health matters, emotional matters or material matters such as finances, a job situation or something else along those lines. We welcome any and all strangers, (New friends) and will never intentionally say or do anything to cause physical or emotional harm. We are all God's children and we accept our earthly responsibilities to Love one another as He has loved us. To ask for prayer for someone in need, just leave a message here on this page.
