Blaze, better than most!!

About Me

Los Angeles, CA – Hip-hop fans are finding new thrills in the trend-shattering work of Blaze, an artist whose distinctive voice, unique flow and hit-making hooks are helping shape the contemporary indie rap scene. Beats and samples are layered together with maximum groove potential while Blaze lays it all out with his assertive, no-nonsense lyrical style and his own special verbal delivery. “Good Vibe” is all the intro listeners need to realize that the new album “DJ Profyle Mixtape Vol. 1: We All We Gott” is all they need to get their hip-hop fix. “Good Vibe” combines an energetic sense of good times with Blaze’s muscular attitude. The texture of beats, melodies and divinely edited samples make for a tune that stands out with its unlike-any-other flavor. Blaze’s signature lyrical style brings it all together. Lyrics came naturally to this Monessen, Pa., native, who began writing them before he hit his teen years. Blaze notes that his home town environment had a great influence on his music. At the age of 17 he began to apply himself seriously to the task at hand – making music. “I do this as an art, for the love of it,” he exclaims. “I love hip-hop.” More recently, Blaze hooked up with C. Willz and DJ Profyle to found the indie hip-hop label Nuthin-But-Hitz Ent. Blaze and company are out to help redirect the hip-hop movement with a more positive attitude, and “Good Vibe” highlights that intent. “There’s such a negative vibe in hip-hop and rap right now,” says Blaze. “I thought it was time for a ‘Good Vibe.’ It’s just a timeless party anthem.” The whole party – in the form of Blaze’s new mixtape – is set to hit the streets in April 2008. He says that fans will find that the album covers a spectrum of ideas, “from songs for the ladies, gangsta cuts to songs about life issues.” Blaze adds: “This album will make you party, laugh, cry and you can even put it on for a romantic night at home.” “We All We Gott” is Nuthin-But-Hitz Ent’s first official release, though the group has released a number of well-received underground albums, including C. Willz’s “Born 2 Do It.” Blaze is currently working with A&R Select, the world’s leading independent artist development firm, based out of Los Angeles, CA.
