it makes my stomach hurt just contemplating the gargantuan task of listing my favorite bands. heavy alt; heavy metal (the harder and more extreme the better); 70's non-disco; 90's; big band; ah, hell -- suffice to say i love most anything but contemporary country, or gospel, both of which i hate. i don't like soul music. oh, and Hawaiian/cruise music. i hate that shit, too.

Banks, Ballard, WB Yeats (brilliant), Lovecraft, Lord Dunsany, More Pricks Than Kicks, too many to even begin to list. lots of non-fiction in the form of neuroscience, physiological behaviorism, and some physics.
