I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a 27 native Floridian living in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. for the moment, but cant wait to leave FL.. I'm Irish, Scottish, & English mix (so I guess I can drink, fight, and sound educated while I do it) who likes to hang out and just have fun. I'm a theater major who's going back to get another degree in medacine so that way when I go to NY I'm not starving. Personality wise... I'm open minded, fun, have a sense of humor, honest (sometimes a little too honest), easy to get along with, spontaneous, adventurous, and comprised of 80% water.

My Interests

Everything. At this time I like hanging out with friends, shooting pool, grabbing that ever so refreshing alcoholic beverage (I'd attend A.A., but it runs during happy hour), the occassional club, sports, trying something new, making people laugh, basically fun.

I'd like to meet:

Old Friends, new freinds, other comedians, or anyone interesting.

Music:

I listen to pretty much everything (even country). From 80's, to rap, classical, to angry white boy music (rock). Some favorites are Eminem, Crytstal Method, Biggie, DMB, Dru Hill, Jay-Z, Tool, Korn, 3 Days Grace, and Mudvayne.

Movies:

Are a good way to kill time (unless the movie is Malibu's Most Wanted or Open Water where you want the wasted time back). I prefer (like you care) comedy, action, and suspense/thiller and every now and then a "chick flick" with the right girl. Some great movies are The Crow, Usual Suspects (anything Kevin Spacey), The Jerk, Braveheart, Wedding Crashers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Black Sheep, Quick Change, Old School (or anything Will Farrell) and the Punisher. (There's also the "my gf made me watch it and I ended up liking it ""does that make me gay?"" list.)

Television:

Family Guy, Smallville, House, Mind of Mencia (to give you an idea of the type of comedy I like), and every now and then the Showbiz Show (w/ David Spade), CSI, and Las Vegas

Books:

When I have time, this is my favorite way to kill it. Count of Monte Cristo, I Am Legend, The Divine Comedy, Raising Atlantis, Hannibal Rising, and my personal favorite; Dissing Your Dog: How to train your puppy with mockery & verbal humiliation

Heroes:

Still in search of that hero...though I have found some people with admirable traits that have inspired me.
