It seems I still don't have my heart set on what I want to be when I grow up. I know I don't want to work in a salon- already did that for 5 years. I loved the relationships I made with clients- but trying to "sell" them on image and peddling beauty products...not so much. I know I don't want to be a childcare provider- did that for 7 yrs. I loved watching little personalities develop and interacting with them- but it's mentally and emotionally draining. I would love to back to college- accepted under academic probation and then earned a scholarship because I was recommended to the Honors program. Which was perfect-until I realized this meant that someday I had to graduate. I am curious about almost everything, and the more I learn then more curious I become...it's almost maddening really. Yep- love college- I just don't want a specific degree...was on my way to becoming a career student. Sadly, I was forced to acknowledge that "career student" is a bit of an expensive oxymoron, as "career" imples an ability (and desire) to generate income. In the end, I am nothing but a knowledge junkie...I quit college cold turkey. So, here is what is true about me:-I am married to a man who makes me laugh almost every day -I have 3 daughters and 1 son in whom I see both the best and the worst of me -I have two dogs, a miniature Collie named Jake and Collie/mix named Lili- and a tiger cat named Ishmael - I have a great job right now in a company that lets me obsess about profitability potential until my brain is actually tired -I love to read -I have insomnia -I hate asparagus- prepared any way- and food with "chunks of surprises" in them (meatloaf with any lurking bits of blue cheese, potatoes, whole mushrooms, etc cleverly hidden inside) -I am a Liberal ( don't know about flaming, but where there is smoke...)For now, that's as good as it gets- it's what i know for sure
