Traveling - I want to go so many places! Maybe a new country every year - that would be ideal. I also really like to camp, which is something I don't do nearly enough of currently. I like to shop - but I guess that's typical. Ummm - movies, KU basketball, geez - I don't know - trying new things....
I'd like to find old friends, catch up, maybe keep in better touch.
I'm really not that picky, I like a little bit of just about everything. I was actually just having a conversation with a friend of mine about that question ... "What's your favorite.... movie, song, band..." And neither one of us could really single out any one of something that we could call our favorite. Is that wierd? Mostly what I like to listen to depends on my mood. Lately, I've been listening to Green Day, The Killers (who I just saw at Red Rocks - Amazing!), Tori Amos, Howie Day, Tim McGraw, Big and Rich, Coldplay, The Perishers - like I said, it really depends on my mood. I guess it would be easier to say what I don't like - I don't like really hard metal music. But that's about it - also rap that lacks intelligent lyrics - but if something interesting or thought provoking is said - I enjoy it. That's what I should say - I like music with lyrics that make me think or that I can identify with - lyrics that remind me of things from my past or make me think of things I want in the future.
As with music - I can't say I have a favorite. I really like movies with surprise endings and those you have to really think about while you watch them. Mulholland Drive, the Sixth Sense, the Usual Suspects, Primal Fear, Momento, Fight Club, the life of david gale - movies like that. I'm also a sucker for a good chick flick. I'm not a huge fan of those over-the-top comedies, but I don't mind watching one every once in a while.
I'm trying to stop watching so much of it - but when I do, I like the West Wing (If it ever returns...), the OC, Law and Order, Sex in the City, Without a trace, Boston Legal, and desperate housewives.
Beloved, The Reader, Invisible Man, Tale of Two Cities
