About Me

Meina Symone was born and raised in Hertfordshire by her mother. Music has always been apart of her life, as her mother was a DJ. She was raised hearing all types of music from Motown to Garage, from Classical to Hip Hop. She started singing aged 7 but never took it seriously until at the age of 14 her mother took her to a producer in Wood Green to record her first track. This gave her the drive to wirte more of her own songs. When she turned 15 she and her two older cousins formed a group called Point Blank. They recored tracks every week in a studio and performed in clubs around Herts. The group then faded whe the eldset member/ producer of the group suddenly passed away. From then she recored tracks with artist from around Herts but never took it futher. Meina Symone is now looking to make more tracks and writing more songs.

My influences play and big part in my musical life as do many others. These people showed me how to write as well as sing. They also showed me that its not just the singing that counts its the way you sing it and the words as it can effect people in different ways as it did me. It is also these things that make a record and/or person. The way in which they project their voices with so much passion lets you know that all their heart is in that one song. Making it their own. .
Sound Like
People have told me that I dont sound like anyone but my style of singing is similar to a few known artists. The most important thing to me is staying true to the music and myself. My musics real, and I plan to keep it that way x
