The band started off with two members, Dave and Max. They were both very keen guitar players and also great friends - knowing each other from school. So they started to work together to produce some riffs. After about a year they had a few songs in the bag but eventually decided to scrap some material that any old band would produce. Meanwhile, two guitarists was not a band, so they turned to their mate, Mark, and asked if he'd play bass. He was into the same music and adapted to the band well. We took a new direction, and were now on track to somewhere, with no more crap. No more crap referring to the stringing together of some power chords, some dismal lyrics and a drummer who cannot keep time - plus a whack video. So with some old material scrapped, the band was taking off. Practices in Dave's garage were regular with Ride The Lightning and The Trooper being the favoured covers. But covers don't take a band anywhere; the original material was the priority. Vocals were decided upon, after an audition between Max, Mark and Dave in the garage; singing along to Metallica to see who had the best voice. We decided that Max would take vocal duties. After two drummers let us down, we were on the lookout for a new one. We found Parijat through a newspaper advertisement and invited him to practice. After impressing us with his ability, he was soon made a member of the band. Ruin Of Sisera was now complete.
Some people who are in band, sit back on a reputation they do not even have, whereas we plan to build a reputation together as a band.:::::Check out some of our material on the site:::::
