This ACTION FIGURES bio is for bookers and record labels and anyone else who wants a piece of the most radical, cutting edge, anarchy, karaoke cheerleaders to hit the youth since Sid Vicious couldn’t remember his lyrics, was due ages ago but we only just finally got around to doing it. We were too busy doing other things like your dawg, drugs, mowing your lawn and masturbating in class. Which brings me to why I’m writing this now in detention ‘cause I got caught with my finger in my crotch.
Would you believe I wrote some lines out earlier but I snorted them all? Heh heh.
Anyway, enough bad jokes, not long ago we became a featured artist on myspace. Pretty kewl for only being together as a unit for a few months. Most likely ‘cause we work the net hard ‘cause virtual life is beta than life in the real world if you ask me. We formed as a reaction against mind control in the freedom of fuck you and just because. We just wanna be heard. That’s why we’re on our way to become cyberspace celebrities.
Our band members rotate ‘cause they get bored or they leave ‘cause their stripping job pays more and a band is too much work or they leave to go to mental homes or move back to Japan after flipping out from to much raves and drugs and marry soldier boys (reference to ex-Action Figure Jinx Crayonbrain). But our current roll call is NuKe PuKe ‘Em, Master Beta, ELFetamine and myself Vid Vicious 2.0. We’re called Action Figures ‘cause focus is on our personalities, our suicidal societal disposability, YOUR short attention-spans and each one of us could have our own plastic psychotic action figure or fully disposable doll– hopefully made by McFarlane Toys.
We are currently involved with a band of rebels called Dead Inside the Chrysalis and their indy label Electricult. We have much the same beliefs as them and the artists involved – ‘cause they’re crazy and know how to party. We believe in that.
In short nonsense, we are Sydney school girls and boys gone wild with anarchy TV, Video-games and mulit-Media freak-out in the shower like Norman Bates, bustin’ caps ! Asside from drugs our influence in short hand theory is Sigue Sigue Sputnik Atari Teenage Riot Troma My Little Pony X-Men Sonic Youth Queer Bear Peaches. We also like Robocop part 1 + 2 the best! Japanese friends luv us and we luv them and alien races and hyper-reality sitcoms.
Real life happenings have the same titles as our songs... like High School Massacre or Wet T-Shirt Competition! We like big hair - yeah yeah! You should get us to dance at your club soon or book us on our high school massacre tour! Why not?
