Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Book Series, anything by Stephen King, I just finished Eragon (which was way better than the movie) and have started Eldest (the second book), Robert Aspirin's Myth series is a blast to read.
I mostly read Sci-fi and Fantasy books with occasional serious reading thrown in for good measure.
