About Me
I am the lead singer of Dublin based metal band A Distant Sun. It's hard to nail us down to a single genre; we fuse melodic death metal with doom, folk, black metal and more. We rehearse for ten hours a week in Loop Studios in Dublin and are beginning to get regular gigs with some of the big bands in the scene. Our aim is to begin playing gigs in the rest of Ireland and then to hopefully branch out into Europe and beyond in the new year. Our debut EP will be released soon. It features four songs (i think).Outside the band, i love spending time with my girlfriend Debbie, who i moved in with. She's a very special, sexy girl who i admire greatly. You can read the rest of my bio below.Likes: Music in general but especially Metal, reading (Horror,Fantasy,Mystery etc.), camels, monkeys, harmonica, pringles, passion fruits, special k, forests, snow, ice, chocolate popcorn, midgets.Dislikes: April, Warmth, Sunshine, people who wear ties, Christians, public toilets, work, cinemas, whistling, spikey haired metal, chicken, public transport, fun, thongs, star signs, adverts on tv (why are they always louder????), shopping, jigsaws, kids, old people, greeks, salad, eggs.This eternal accusation against Christianity I shall write upon all walls, wherever walls are to be found - I have letters that even the blind will be able to see... I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough, - I call it the one immortal blemish upon the human race...
