HOUSE OF PHUNK MUSIC House of Phunk Music was born out of despair, fresh out of school and tired of doing things other people's way, he decided to step out on faith and start his own company. He wanted to be his own boss and create the type of beats that were hot and fresh. He was searching for a new sound and knew he could not do it unless he was independent from outside influences. It is often said when Phunk Dawg is not in the studio he is like a fish out of water. The studio is his comfort zone where he can delve deep inside and bring his inner self to the forefront. He has so much passion for his work. Each track he does is better than the last one. He is innovative and full of fresh ideas. It was not hard for him to create a name for himself and put House of Phunk Music on the map but the financial aspects of the business created a problem. He knew he had to grind and sell his beats. He hit the streets and refused to let his dream die. If you could not come to him then he would come to you. His giving personality and carefree attitude along with his extraordinary talent propelled his career into the stratosphere.Personal reasons brought him to North Louisiana. The city was not ready for man's skills. They were enthralled with his talent. The city embraced him. He felt at home and decided to put his roots down in Shreveport. In the rap community, his name was on everybody's lips. He was in demand. He met a young entrepreneur by the name of Anthony Mandigo in 2001. They collaborated on different projects.Mandigo and the people on his label were pleased with the way Phunk Dawg threw himself into each project. They trusted him with their sound and wanted no other producer to be in charge of the Lava House sound. Eventually he became the company's in house producer and production supervisor. In 2003 a long time friend, Tara E. Davis, CEO of Infiniti Productions, a film production company needed help with the musical aspect of her film, TRYIN' 2 MAINTAIN.She was aware of Punk Dawg's skills and solicited his help. He scored the film and produced the soundtrack. Which ultimately led to him becoming the production supervisor of sounds for Infiniti Productions. Currently House of Phunk Music has two offices, one in Shreveport, Louisiana and the other one in Dallas, Texas. Today he is the most sought after producer in the ARK-LA-TEX and in the ARK-LA-MISS.
