"I pray to live another day because life is short and I pray I never live a day on life support " Lonis Monroe (Lil-Roe) was born in Covington, Kentucky on December 1st, 1980 to a Black/Native American Father (Rest In Peace) and a German/Irish Mother...He started out writing poetry at 9 years old and writing raps at age 11...His brother and the homiez formed a group called "Lynch Mob" which later changed their name to "Tribe-X" in the back-room of their house in 1992... Roe always wanted to be in the group but was just a youngbuck - and he really didn't understand what it was about at that age but music is his life and has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. "It was my father's passion and one of his many profession's... One of my only regrets is that I didn't appreciate it more"... Starting out with no more than hopes, dreams and pads full of melodic poems and lyrics, he also has a strong passion for music and the drive to follow his dreams... At an age (13) when adolescence steers teenage boys into chasing after the pretty young ladies, Roe was chasing beats and rhymes amongst neighborhood friends (606 Boyz, Lem-Low, Sixx, Dub, J-Roc- just to name a few). Under the guidance of very supportive parents, he sought inspiration from his father and other accomplished artists/musicians and focused his sights on music as a career...Growing up in a musical family made it easy for him to decide what he wanted to do, but growing up in the hood made it hard for him to make some of the decisions he has made in certain situations..."I've tread many paths in my life but have not yet reached my destination..
