A partnership between two twin brothers to hustle and grind their way to the airwaves and get the attention from the majors was the cards 50/50 Twin was playing with a few years ago. Add to the hand, being a member of one of Houston's most prominant clicks (Color Changin' Click) and you could say Twin's odds looked promising. With a turn of the dice, the other half of 50, his brother was convicted of a botched armed robbery and sentenced to 45 years in prison. Around that same time, the Color Changin' Click started to unfold and 50/50's plan laid out in front of him. He continued featuring on Color Changin Click mixtapes, still playing a major role as a member of the click as well as playing the field and appearing on a widespread line up of other releases. Throughout the years, he has released 10 projects including his 2004 underground solo debut, Grown Man Style.
After years of grindin' his way to become one of the most sought after rappers in Texas and the South in general, Twin has put alot of time and focus into the Roc 4 Roc imprint. With the recent attraction that the South has received from the rap world you can certainly expect to see Twin garnering alot of interest in the very near future. And with a twin brother on lock, the stakes are that much higher, the struggle that much harder, but the future success that much more worth it.
